A Cup of Everything closed Wednesday in downtown Huntsville. (A Cup of Everything)

A Cup of Everything shut down this week, forcing customers to find another establishment for their coffee fix.

The coffee house and convenience store announced Thursday it is permanently closed. A statement on Facebook thanks supporters for their patronage during the past three years.

"Thanks to all our friends & family," A Cup of Everything said. "Last, but, by all means not least, thanks to all our team members. We are grateful we had the opportunity to work with you."

Helen Gillespie and Cathy Lamberth opened A Cup of Everything in a 2,500-square-foot former office building on 103 Northside Square in 2014. The business was the recipient of the North Alabama Revolving Loan Fund, a program that provides microloans as little as $2,500 to as much as $50,000 to north Alabama startups and small businesses.

AL.com has contacted the ownership for more details about the closure and will update this story as details are available.
