His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah expressed joy and pride as he extended congratulations for the active engagement of youth in numerous volunteer initiatives. These initiatives not only involve providing assistance to those in need within the Sultanate but also extend to international efforts, including the collection and delivery of aid to Palestine.
In his titah, His Majesty commended the dedication and compassion shown by the youth in their efforts to contribute positively to society. Their commitment to serving both local and global communities reflects the spirit of unity and compassion that is deeply ingrained in Bruneian values.
His Majesty delivered the titah during Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (Yayasan) on Monday at International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas. Accompanying His Majesty was Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam.
Accompanying Their Majesties to the ceremony were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Malik and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Rabi’atul ‘Adawiyah binti Pengiran Haji Bolkiah; His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen and Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Anisha Rosnah binti Adam.
Also attending were His Royal Highness Prince Jefri Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, the Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam.
