The Bush Prize: South Dakota, a collaborative initiative between the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) and the Bush Foundation, has opened its application process, offering a unique opportunity for organizations that consistently engage and lead their community toward creative solutions.
This prestigious award celebrates organizations that are highly valued within their communities and have a track record of successful problem solving and transformational impact through creative solutions.
The Bush Prize: South Dakota will provide two organizations with a $250,000 flexible award, allowing each recipient to allocate funds in a way that best supports their continued success. This flexibility enables organizations to bolster reserves, experiment with new initiatives, or invest in areas that can further their mission. Along with the financial award, recipients are celebrated for their community impact and innovative spirit.
It’s essential to submit applications on time, as the application window closes at noon central time (11 a.m. mountain time) on April 30, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted, so make sure to complete and submit your application before the deadline.
SDCF has moved to a new online grant portal system, GOapply. First-time registrants to the portal must first create a new account in GOapply, and once you receive approval from SDCF, you will be able to begin the application process.
For more information about the application process, eligibility criteria, and other pertinent details, visit SDCF’s website: https://sdcommunityfoundation.org/grants. Don’t miss this opportunity to receive substantial support for your organization’s ongoing good work. Apply for the Bush Prize: South Dakota and take a step toward amplifying your community-focused efforts.
